About a month ago I stood in line at 6 a.m. outside the Apple store to get myself an iPhone. It was “opening weekend” so this was to be expected.
Yesterday I stood in line at 6:30 a.m. outside the Apple store to get my wife an iPhone as well. I had heard from a friend the day before that he had to do the same for his iPhone purchase.
I’m a little surprised that the iPhone 3G is still this much in demand nearly a month after it’s debut. It seems that Apple can only ship limited quantaties daily to each Apple store, in which they sell out by noon o’clock. This is the case for the Domain location anyway.
Kudos to Apple for making another great product and experience (yes I enjoyed standing in line).
